World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses
The item upgrade is a type of enchantment that improves the stats in certain armor or weapons. This includes secondary stats such as Leech or Speed.

Universal upgrades can be applied to any kind of equipment and offer lower bonuses compared to other components that are specific to the particular type of equipment.
Leveling
The upgrade system lets players enhance their items by increasing their level. The item's "guaranteed bonuses" are also enhanced with the level increment. Each level upgrade boosts a stat on the item by 3 and adds an extra bonus based on the tier of the item. These bonuses range from +3 bonus to +1 to a random buff.
Each item is limited to a specific amount of upgrades. After an upgrade the item is completed, it can be upgraded to a higher-tiered product with the same or greater value.
This system is very useful for players who wish to acquire gear with a certain level of stats before having the chance to purchase the latest item. Transfer is easy to use and lets players save up on upgrading materials.
Upgrade materials are collected as a player clears content and are used to improve or replace an item. Every item requires a specific type of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction Stones while armor requires Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. These materials are renamed when the item is upgraded, such as Stone Fragments become Stones and Harmony Shards become Life Shards.
It is crucial to upgrade items in order to improve a character's performance. However it is equally important to think about how much it will cost. Every time an item is upgraded, it will cost an amount of gold that could be better used on a new piece of gear. This is why it is recommended to upgrade only the most essential items in any given circumstance.
This typically involves upgrading the weapon first followed by the chest and legs before the helm. Upgrade trinkets now if the player has the money to do so. This will increase their potential for procs. For item upgrading , a high-end Throne of Thunder trinket may be worth upgrading to get greater damage it can cause from its procs. Some trinkets, however, aren't worth upgrading until they can offer an upgrade that is important to the specific build. Rerolling

When you reach the level 6 upgrade goal, it is usually better to reroll and find the most powerful upgrades or save up funds to buy the next set of items. This will ensure that you have a solid roster at the time you reach the level 9 upgrade goal.
The rerolling system is very like the leveling up system. Reroll tokens can be used to remove a Level Up option from your item and then exchange it for another. However, unlike Level Up, reroll tokens don't reset the item's level. This means that if you roll an upgraded item, it will no longer be at the same level and will not have the extra bonus.
Players can also use an additional mechanic, Eliminate, to eliminate any level Up option they have on their weapons or equipment. This is a great option if you get a bad gacha or you wish to reroll a five-star model. To do this, you will require a new account or log in through social media.
Additionally, there's an Occultist in each town that can be visited to alter a weapon's or armor's Aspects and/or stats. This is helpful if you have an epic five-star unit you'd like to improve or an elite four-star character that you're struggling with.
Rerolling item upgrader can be obtained by completing certain quests. They can be purchased from the Occultist at 300 gold or found in holozons, which are dropped in certain dungeons. You can then change the roll of any weapon or armor, or ring by moving the icon with the lock to the desired slot on the page of your unit's.
Sets
A set is a collection of items that are similar in some way. Sets are frequently used. For instance dozen eggs or a group of friends. They are beneficial because they allow you to organize things, and also operations such as intersection, union and distinction help you manage them efficiently. Sets can be used in various ways, such as organizing music on a play list or classifying students based on their grades.
In Nioh the game, players utilize sets to give special effects to players when they wear certain pieces of an Armor Set. These bonuses, also known as Set Bonuses, are similar to and sometimes superior to Effects. While it is not explained in-universe why the armor sets have to be worn together to create these additional effects, they provide some variety when playing the game. The armor sets with Set Bonuses can be found in a variety of locations throughout Hyrule as well as the Dark Moon and Twilight Temple.
Each piece of equipment included in a Set includes a set of Set Bonuses that are associated with it. You can find out which ones are available by hovering over the item and then looking at the tooltip at the bottom. The Set Bonuses will show in an orange box.
Certain of these set bonuses are exclusive to certain pieces of equipment. For example, if you equip the full Phantom Armor set you will receive +8 defense (compared to the usual +3 defense that comes with most gear). Other sets can only be obtained through certain quests or by purchasing them from the Auction House.
It is also possible to acquire Set Bonuses for multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously. If you own the complete Kestra's Descent Set, and the matching parts of Twinblade of Shadow, you will be able to get the + version of the set's bonus if you match them.
Set Bonuses are the same, even if the equipment to which they are attached level up. If an item is exemplarized to levels that are too low the set bonus will cease working.
Set bonuses
Set bonuses are unique effects that appear on an item set and grant a bonus to the player in battle. They give a certain amount of a certain kind of stat, such as weapon damage, defenses or resistances. However, they do not stack; only one will be active at a time. The amount of a stat is determined by the number of pieces included in the set. For instance you can have four weapons and three chests but only one of them will be beneficial.

This is a great feature and one of the most well-known in the game. Currently only a few sets of gear have set bonuses. They are only available on the Test Realm. However, this number is likely to increase when the update is released. The bonus will be added to the 7 school specific Dragoons equipment, for instance.
Set bonuses cannot be stacked inside a set but they can stack across sets. This is ideal for players that want to use the most effective combination of sets. However, it requires some planning. As set bonuses only affect the shell of a piece of equipment (not the armoring, mod or enhancement), you have to be careful with your placements.
It is important to note that the value of a set's bonus will not change regardless of whether your exemplar level is higher than three levels lower than the minimum level that is allowed for an enhancement. Purple (Very Rare) Sets, PvP sets and Archetype Origin sets are exempt from this restriction and their set bonuses work regardless of the degree of exemplars for an item.
